About Me

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my passion lies with helping children and families effectively navigate their day-to-day lives. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2013 after graduating from the University of Arizona with a BA in Family Studies and Human Development. Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings, as well as collaborated with different professionals and advocated on children’s behalf within the education system.

I provide a warm and supportive environment where I help children and families address issues such as: managing overwhelming emotions, developing social skills, creating a positive sense of self, building strong communication skills, and more. I focus on supporting children with difficulties that may arise at home and/or school, such as: difficulty completing tasks, maintaining focus, staying organized, decision-making, setting realistic and attainable goals, time management, establishing routines, and identifying feelings.

Prior to beginning my private practice, I was the Director of Social Work in an elementary school for a decade with a background in family therapy and play therapy. Through years of experience ,I have developed an understanding that every child and family is unique. My approach is focused on providing a collaborative and supportive relationship that empowers my clients based on their individualized needs to reach their highest potential.

Please feel free to contact me to set up a short consultation and discuss how I can help your family.

I look forward to working with you and your family.
